We LOVE to Give Back

posted by TrueNorth Companies on Friday, December 4, 2015

“I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as I live, it is my privilege — my privilege to do for it whatever I can.” – George Bernard Shaw

We just LOVE the communities we live in. And that’s why TrueNorth really believes in giving back and showing our support in any way that we can. Whether that’s supporting volunteer service by staff or donations to non-profit organization in our communities, we want to give just as much as we receive.

At TrueNorth, we encourage participation in non-profit boards. Our staff volunteers their time for day-long (or more) projects and our corporate donations department, Casual for a Cause makes it their goal to raise money to help great groups in need of financial aid. In the past year, more than 500 hours of volunteer time was logged by employees of TrueNorth. As a corporate entity, we gave to more than 55 local organizations. That’s a testament to how much our staff, executives, and the whole company believes in making our home a better place for everyone!

Below, you'll find a list of organizations we've helped over the 2015 calendar year.  Click on the links below to find out what we've done, but you'll also see we've gone a step further and offered suggestions on how you can also make a difference in our community.
