TrueNoth was awarded Underwriting Agency of the Year by United Fire Group during their annual event at the Cedar Rapids Country Club on March 13.

The insurance business "is built on relationships and TrueNorth has done a tremendous job delivering on their piece," said Mike Broghammer, assistant vice president and director of marketing, United Fire Group. "We value our relationship with them because they are an industry leader in planning and the execution and implementation of that plan. They have done a tremendous job."

United Fire Group works with 850 agents in 40 states and looks to firms' loss ratios to determine the deserving recipient. This is the second time TrueNorth has been awarded Underwriting Agency of the Year during the twelve years United Fire Group has had the award program.
